Amanda VanVeckhoven is a highly motivated and empathetic board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a strong dedication to providing exceptional medical care and improving access to high-quality medical services. She completed her undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University and earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNT Health Science Center). Amanda has accumulated thousands of hours of healthcare experience, collaborating effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
Recognized by her supervisors and peers, Amanda is known for her teamwork, adaptability, honesty, and strong interpersonal skills. She has worked in urgent care/primary care and has recently transitioned into the field of sleep medicine, joining Dream Sleep Medicine with Dr. Vikas Jain. Amanda is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and her board certification reflects her commitment to delivering exceptional medical care and enhancing accessibility to high-quality medical services for her patients.
Amanda's expertise extends to telemedicine, and she holds licenses in seven states: Alabama, Texas, California, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, and New Mexico. While currently awaiting licensure in New York, she continues to provide care remotely to patients through telemedicine.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Amanda enjoys exploring new places alongside her husband and their dog, Harper. With a passion for food, she embraces her love for cooking and trying new culinary experiences, making her a true foodie. Amanda's empathetic nature and unwavering dedication to her patients' well-being make her a trusted clinician, striving to help her patients lead happy and healthy lives.
